Vertical labret piercing is a piercing in the lower lip from the middle of the lip to below the lip with a curved barbell. Vertical labret jewelry does not enter the inside of the mouth, so it cannot damage the teeth. Initially, a slightly longer piece of jewelry is put on as a piercing jewelry, so that the lip can swell without the jewelry being tight. Jewelry should be changed no later than 1.5 months from the end to a short one so that it does not get between the teeth when eating, for example.
A curved barbell “banana jewelry” is used as vertical labret jewelry, where more decorative tips can also be used instead of traditional ball tips.
